La competición comenzaba esta jornada. El equipo, con algunas bajas, estaba preparado. “Con la ayuda de los entrenadores y del cuerpo técnico estamos en forma y preparados para empezar la liga”, titulaba Fran Tarrega en una entrevista. El diez agregó que se ven preparados para “el inicio de la competición”. Sin embargo, ocurrió lo improbable: Ni derrota, ni empate, ni victoria. La primera jornada tenía que esperar, el conjunto contrario pedía un aplazamiento debido a la falta de fichas. Con espíritu deportivo y con respeto, el FC Odisea aceptaba la postura y acordaba un aplazamiento del partido, abandonando la ventaja de abrir la competición en casa.
En el primer contacto ya se ha demostrado la rudeza de esta liga. Desde encuentros con 2-7, hasta un partido equilibrado que acababa en un 3-3. Son equipos con muchos goles. “No nos pondrán las cosas fáciles”, auguraba el media punta Tarrega. Los 14 equipos pugnarán por el ascenso que solo puede lograr el primero. Este resultado se sabrá a medios de mayo. A causa de la covid-19, los clubes que compiten en esta liga son pocos. No obstante, habrá que luchar partido a partido como si fuese el último.
Los jugadores se sienten satisfechos, hay un buen ambiente cada vez que rueda la pelota en el verde. Eso es lo que se ha conseguido durante esta pretemporada, saber cómo juega cada uno, afianzar las relaciones y conocer al compañero de al lado. Habrá que esperar hasta el siguiente fin de semana para conocer el segundo paso del equipo, un encuentro contra el C.F. Moró en el que los jugadores buscarán la tan ansiada victoria.
A different start to the league

The players feel satisfied, there is a good atmosphere in the team. That has been achieved thanks to this preseason, knowing how everyone plays, strengthening relationships and getting a strong culture from the beginning.
