Cuenta una antigua leyenda griega que tras una gran batalla un rey se fue victorioso a sus tierras. El rey Ulises pasó por muchos peligros en esas singladuras. Desde tormentas, bromas de Poseidón, hasta trampas de gigantes, vejaciones que acabaron en venganzas. Finalmente, un rey vuelve a su trono victorioso y recordado.
El club pasa por una situación similar. La pretemporada marca las tempestades de Ulises, el inicio de liga deja entrever un camino difícil, en el que la única opción es salir victorioso. Esa es la filosofía del equipo. Los primeros minutos de la competición fueron según lo previsto. Hubo complicaciones, sin embargo el equipo supo enfrentarse a las adversidades y salir victorioso de cada situación.
No en vano, esos esfuerzos han servido para ganar el primer encuentro de liga. Pero hay que seguir trabajando en este sentido. La odisea no termina cuando Ulises llega a sus tierras, termina cuando el rey, despojado de su aspecto joven y siendo reconocido solo por una criada de su alcoba logra llevar a cabo su venganza y matar a todos los pretendientes de Penélope, su esposa. Cuando el agua vuelve a sus cauces se acaba la Odisea. Cuando se termine la liga, se terminará la odisea, de momento solo hemos pasado una tormenta.
The start of a new legacy
An ancient Greek legend tells that after a great battle a king returned victorious to his lands. King Ulises went through many dangers in his journeys. From storms, Poseidon, to traps of giants, humiliations that ended in revenge. Finally, a king returns to his throne victorious and remembered.
The club goes through a similar situation. The preseason marks the storms of Ulises, the beginning of the league reveals a difficult path, in which the only option is to emerge victorious. That’s the team’s philosophy. The first few minutes of the competition were as planned. There were complications, however the team knew how to face the adversities and emerge victorious from each situation.
Not surprisingly, those efforts have served to win the first league match. But we must continue working in this direction. The odyssey does not end when Ulises arrives to his land, it ends when the king, stripped of his young appearance and being recognized only by a maid in his bedroom, manages to carry out his revenge and kill all Penelope’ suitors. When the water returns to its path the Odyssey is over. When the league is over, the odyssey will end, for now we have only been through a storm.
